Well, today I had to write and load a binary into a ORACLE DB. I tried to do it like in the example
at the beginning of this page, but I had no success. For whatever reason I had no
"savfile" in my BLOB object. *arrr*. I am working on a 3.0.12 PHP compiled on a solaris
box.
Is this normal? or just a bug here?
anyway, I programed a "workaround", I open the uploaded file and stored it into a
variable, and saved this variable via the "save" command.
the loading was much much easier. easier then in the example on another page.
I just made the normal query stuff like it would be usual select, but instead of writing
$var=$res[0]; I wrote $var=$res[0]->load();
Hope this note can help someone ...
