I used the ODBC function for my forum program to handle user entered infos
the form passes user entered data to post.php, inside which i had a program parsing the data, then
put into the access file through ODBC connectivity. it works fine, , but there is one thing that
bothers me very much!!
sometimes it gets the following error messages:
-----------------------------------------------------------
SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]COUNT SQL state 07001 in SQLExecDirect in
post.php on line 20
-----------------------------------------------------------
especially when the user entered a large size article into the database,
i thought it might be that i parsed the data
($userdata=nl2br(stripslashes(htmlspecialchars($userdata)))), so i double slashed this line,
but the problem wasnt solved at'll!
then i tried using addslashes: $data=addslashes($data), and still, i got error if the data is too
big.
is there anyway to work out this?!! this is really frustrating, i d rather get back and stick to
mysql!!!!
or maybe i am just too stupid to work it out...
