If this function is confusing for you, then you are not familiar with Unix where the command to
create a link is exactly the same:
ln <target> <link_name>
where target is the file you want a link to and link_name is the name (and location) of the new link
Also, you should considere the returned value to be true of false, not 1 or 0, like:
if (link (bla, bla))
{
echo "ok";
}
else
{
echo "failed";
}
