Note Submitter: php.net@odi.ch ---- More missing and annoying stuff: - debugging without stack traces is painful - run different PHP versions (4.0, 4.2, 4.3) on the same server. Maybe it's possible by configuring the web server, but there is no how to and no active support by PHP. - too many php.ini options that can break working code: magic_quotes_gpc, register_globals etc. There should be one API for a specific PHP version. Not an API that behaves a little different depending on php.ini settings. This modality causes pain and makes code more non-portable than portable.
