also for some people put php4apache2.dll in the apache/modules directory instead of using a full pathname like loadmodule x:\foo\foo\php4apache.dll you can use loadmodule module/php4apache.dll . I spent all afternoon and most of my evening trying to figure out why apache2 couldn't see it, when it was there and looking for it.
