note 35122 rejected from function.imagecreatefromstring by didou

Note Submitter: hgshoggins@yahoo.fr ---- Hi, I have troubles those days: my host has upgraded its GD library version. On phpinfo(), it's now displayed "VERSION: 2.0 or higher". The problem is that this is not the version bundled with PHP - which perfectly works -, but the external library - which is good, because you can add filetypes, and this is what the admin did, but also bad, because it's known to be less stable. Here is the fact: I can't use imagecreatefromstring() on all my pictures (in BLOB fields) anymore, since the day the new version was installed. The old version (1.6.2 or something) was stable, and all my pictures worked... Is it possible that the module became unstable because of the upgrade? Thanks in advance...
