seems to indicate otherwise.
My tests using code like that in one of the examples from the above page also show that the isset()
works as I expected in that scope, e.g.:
function foo( $var ) {
if ( isset($var) ) echo "set";
}
foo( $unsetvar );
does not echo set. Your remarks seem to indicate otherwise.
