A PHP newbie like myself would do well to remember that the form you use to upload a file should have the encoding type defined. <form method="post" action="page.php" enctype="multipart/form-data"> A form that *only* has input types of file or hidden (like in the example) seems to work without the enctype specified..but when you add a file input to a form that already has radio buttons and text fields and all that fun stuff the uploader breaks. So remember to specify multipart/form-data! ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php Edit Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+35267 Delete Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+35267&report=yes Reject Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+35267&report=yes
