Concerning setting the timeout time to any value lower than 1 second seems impossible, as one of you
already mentioned. Any value below 1 (0.999, 0.500, 0.001, ...) will timeout instantly (0.0). Is
there any way to work around this? One second timeout is really too long time sometimes...
