note 35326 added to ref.session

In response to jvilla's login and verifying code up midway, I couldnt get it to work until I added a session_start(); at the very top of the header file which is included in all visible pages. I tried putting the session_start(); other places but it wouldnt register a session. So that seemed to fix it.
