note 35456 added to function.imap-list

Dear Sir, Sub : Create Your Own Mail Script With PHP and IMAP I was testing the imap functionality of PHP by refering your article.(http://www.devarticles.com/art/1/104/1) I am using php 4.3.3 on windows 2000 professional and server. Imap is successfully enabled and the phpinfo() is giving the following result. "imap IMAP c-Client Version 2001 " But when i am trying he connect to mail server the following error is coming. "Connection to server failed Notice: (null)(): Can't connect to myserver,143: Timed out (10060) (errflg=2) in Unknown on line 0" <?php $server = "server"; $user = "username"; $pass = "password"; $conn = @imap_open("\{$server/imap}INBOX", $user, $pass) or die("Connection to server failed"); ?> Please help how can i overcome "the time out problem. " in iis i changed the timeout duration to 180 seconds, but this time out error is to the mail server i suppose. My purpose of using this functionaly is to forward a mail to all members in a group when the group emailaddress is receiving an email. so that i am checking the group emailaddress here, and trying to forward the mail to all members in that group. How can i get a reminder when there is a new mail in the groupremail address?
