I just setup the PHP 4.0.2 with Apache 1.3.12 and Sybase 11.9.2 on RedHat Linux 6.2.
The following error is reported when I attempt to receive data from sybase server using
sybase_fetch_object.
Warning: Sybase message: Cannot find the requested character set in Syscharsets: name =
'Ä¿çÿ?'. (severity 11)
But all results are correct even there has an error message returned. Is there has way that I can
skip this message from displaying on my web page?
bkw@weisshuhn.de has suggest to add
<BLOCKQUOTE>
sybase_min_server_severity(11);
</BLOCKQUOTE>
to decrease the level of messages sent back from the dbserver, it seems that it may relate to my
problem. But as I'm a newbie here, I don't know where I should put this statement. It
seems that I cannot put it in my php file as the error is return:-
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sybase_min_server_severity()
Thanks in advance!
