This works just fine with all browsers i have tested.
I was struggling with this problem for a while.
I looked up how apache server does imagehandling with lynx.
***************************************************
lynx -mime_header http://127.0.0.1/images/image.jpg
***************************************************
This is my version of header-sending imitating apache.
$length = strlen ( imagejpeg(LoadJpeg($imagepath),"",20));
header('Accept-Ranges: bytes');
header('Content-Length: '.$length);
header('Connection: close');
header('Content-Type: image/jpeg');
header('Content-Disposition: inline; filename=file.jpg');
echo "\n";
imagejpeg(LoadJpeg($imagepath),"",20);
exit;
