I've just upgraded from PHP 4.0.5 to 4.0.6 compiled with IMAP support. With all versions up to
4.0.5 I have been able to keep with the old UW IMAP 4-4 client libraries, but the IMAP changes in
4.0.6 appear to require the IMAP 2000 series client. Upgrading to IMAP-2000c worked fine for me.
Hope this helps someone!
