here's my variable problem with most browsers but Mozilla 1.1. And wonder if something that was just mentioned about would fix my problem.... This part of a url: /post.php?action=newthread&fid=13&poll=yes which should produce: $action = newthread $fid = 13 $poll = yes actually produces this: $action = newthread&fid=13&poll=yes $fid = 13 $poll = yes but var_dump($_GET) produces this: array(3) { ["action"]=> string(9) "newthread" ["fid"]=> string(2) "13" ["poll"]=> string(3) "yes" } is there a reason why by $action value would be different then the $_get["action"] value? PHP version 4.3.1 this variable value information is right as the php code starts, before anything happens code wise btw if the url part was this: /post.php?action=newthread&fid=13&poll=yes&topicadmin= it produces this: $action = newthread $fid = 13 $poll = yes topicadmin= oddly not: $action = newthread&fid=13&poll=yes&topicadmin= $fid = 13 $poll = yes topicadmin= JOEy ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.variables.php Edit Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+35614 Delete Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+35614&report=yes Reject Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+35614&report=yes
