Beware of this!
On distributions like RedHat, the posix functions are enabled by default. It's a security
problem if you enabled safe mode, as said in the warning above. It should be a good thing if there
was a way to disable the posix module, by a php.ini directive, without having to recompile with
--disable-posix...
