I'm running Apache 1.3.12/Win98/PHP4 and have spent the last four hours spitting and swearing
at Apache.
The error msg I got was: "Fatal error: Unable to open E:programapachehtdocs/index.php"
The solution, after reading everything on this excellent page, was to remove the <doc_root>
entry in the <php.ini> file. (My real program path is E:ProgramApachehtdocs, so it was the ***
problem with case sensitivity that had been a pain i the ass)
Thanks for your help!
