On the subject of WAP and PHP:
If you are unable to turn off short tags as suggested above adding the following to the top of your
PHP document will add the correct header and XML tag for WML. This will work with short tags
enabled.
<?
header("Content-type: text/vnd.wap.wml");
echo('<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC "-//PHONE.COM//DTD WML 1.1//EN"
"http://www.phone.com/dtd/wml11.dtd"
>');
?>
