As of libxml-2.2.7 and php-4.0.2, the DOM API is *not* implemented. You cannot expect to read the
W3C DOM reference manual and use the function names, this will not work. The php-4.0.2
"DOM" implementation offer important functionalities to work with XML documents but its
name is misleading.
