note 32582 deleted from install.apache by betz

Note Submitter: tanhualoon@hotmail.com ---- haa.... finally... for those who have this SAPI problem - "The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL / *.php"... after going through installations, looking through php.ini, httpd.conf... the problems lies with - HTTPD.CONF... in most of the places i search from the web, they ask u to put in <directory>, addtype, add++++++ whatsoever.. but need not to be so difficult.. the problem lies in the loading sequence of httpd.conf first, cut & paste the following to all the directives after #loadmodule -> "LoadModule php4_module d:/online/php/php4apache.dll" afterwhich, ONLY ADD "AddModule mod_php4.c AddType application/x-httpd-php .php" AFTER Clearmodulelist.... or after other *.c directives... the reasons seem so simple now... Clearmodulelist could probably clearing off my mod_php4.c !!! haa.... and that works.... !!
