Note Submitter: hhargrov@andrew.cmu.edu ---- xp professional installation working php 4.3.1 working apache 2.0 Others have contributed solutions to the double error message popup of "unable to load php_something.dll unknown()" Some of these solutions are really over the top and assume that the problem was a dll version problem (which it might be) that occured when they upgraded. I just want to note that the problem for me was not having (in my case) c:\php\dll\*.* in the c:\%windir%\system32 directory. Apparently it needs these basic dll's in the system path to load extensions, most notably for me, ldap, imap, gettext, and bz2. Cheers.
