I just discovered a bug fix for something very elusive which caused a lot of problems to many:
sometimes a download of a large file, triggered from the browser simply doesn't work, the
browser stops at a certain percent.
I fixed this issue by changing the maximum allocated memory , like this:
ini_set("memory_limit", "20M");
you can use a smaller size, of course if that fits you. The standard size probably isn't enogh
(8M i think).
After that i used a standard feof/fread cycle. This is a fix only for the issue i mentioned earlier.
