According to my phpinfo(); [below] I have dbx support for MSSQL. I do not, however, have the MSSQL
extensions installed. Do I have to have both in order to connect to an MSSQL server with dbx
functions?
[DBX]
dbx support enabled
dbx version 1.0.0
supported databases MySQL
ODBC
PostgreSQL
Microsoft SQL Server
FrontBase
Oracle 8 (not really)
Sybase-CT
If I do not have to have both the dbx and mssql extensions installed, why do I get the folling error
when executing this statement:
$link = dbx_connect (DBX_MSSQL, "65.16.184.74", "es_website",
"es_webadmin", "sss404dev", DBX_PERSISTENT);
if (isset($link)) {
echo "Connected successfully";
dbx_close ($link);
}
