This 'thing' isn't a parser, it's state machine results that someone built and
is trying to pass off in the release as a parser. It appears that there should be a
'heavier' (i.e.: not as lightweight) implementation for those who don't want to spend
a week just to 'write/debug' their own implementation of something that should be built
in.
Anyone ever hear of a linked list (of useful structures, I mean, that's pushing the envelope,
isn't it)? (I mean c'mon, especially since you have 'dynamic variables' which,
considering what they do, are pointers!) I mean, how long has XML been around??? Too bad no one
had/has the foresight to see that scripted languages were intended to be as easy as possible.
I myself will avoid spending my development $$$ on this as much as possible (since I'm fairly
new to PHP). Eventually, it will have to happen, and then, maybe, there will be a parser that I
won't have to step through every node in my XML document to validate. LAME
And NO, I'm not a fan of M$, I can use anything, but If you're going to call something
functional, don't make it so lame.
End of rant...later!
