hi !
i've seen - so far- some "undocumented" behaviour of the "mssql_query"
function. it returns a php resource on SELECT-statements, but a boolean value with false or true on
manipulation statements like DELETE. i've tried to proof this with the GETTYPE and
GET_RESOUCE_TYPE functions. if somebody else could also proof this, it's ok and the function
returns predictable results one can work with.
Sysconfig is Win98/Apache1.3.22/PHP 4.2.1 and SQL Server 2000 on an another machine.
greetings from austria,
stefan
