I had this problem too monday using Mozilla Mail, I've restated it and
it was fine. Really strange.
Btw, some news :
- AS you know, there's now a search tool for the notes.
- When you delete/reject from your Mail Reader (asking confirmation :
note #id was deleted..), you're redirected to the search page and the
same message is stated.
- Vincent, I'm planing to ask for adding your cron-based script on
php.net. Can you do the DB optimisation stuff that we have discussed
iirc ? (record last message retrieved to start after it next day)
I'm sick@home for two days so I would like to add it quickly before
getting back to my office.
I've been working on this...
I made it working with files, getting 10Mb out of a db sounds slow and resource eating to me....
10Mb ? Why the hell this size ?
Currently we need only two talbles :
users (
login,
deleted,
rejected
)
memory (
id (auto_increment),
date,
last_note
)
When you execute the script :
0 _ Select date, last_note + 1 from memory
1 _ rename the current stats to old/stats_date.html
2 _ ask the news server for the total number of thread
3 _ loop throught the messages between last_id and total to construct the users array
4 _ adds the values of the array in the user tables
5 _ insert into memory NOW(), total
6 _ generates a static version of the current stats.
7 _ here we are
Does it sounds wrong ?

but I have this very strange problem now...
when I let the script work with the 'full' database file it doesn't seem to work like it should...
(the file with all the message headers has everything in it)
but when I limit it to only get the last 1000 messages, it works
it sounds confusing..
a look at http://allowee.no-ip.biz/user_notes.php
and
http://paste.uni.cc/note/user_notes.php (find the missing users)
might help
maybe some functions don't like the 10Mb file...
if you want to help, see http://allowee.no-ip.biz/source.php?file=user_notes.php

When I click Delete I see this message...
Note #36441 doesn't exist. It has probably been deleted/rejected already
but I'm deleting it, I'm getting the delete mail...
I get: Note #36442 has been rejected and removed from the manual
So no error here. Maybe is currently working on the system?
I guess the files are synced now...
it working fine for me now :)
