I have Apache 1.3x with PHP 4.2x, I had the same problems like that below, but I find solution:
1. If you don't able the extention modules php_db.dll and php_dba.dll in your php.ini,
you'll receive something like that:
Call to undefined function: dba_open()
so turn it on.
2. Then normaly you use something like that:
$db = dba_open("data.db", "c", "db2");
and receive an error message like:
no such handler: db2 in line .....
I don't know why but really this handler is not available in my php 4.2x, than I try with db3
and it's work.
