Using PHP Version 4.3.0, this function made my browser "lock up" when using this function
on an EMPTY string in a page with a lot of other content, or giving me a cannot find server error
when using just this function with an empty string, not having anything else on the page.
I've also submitted this as a bug report as I spent like an hour verifying it wasn´t something
else.
