Omitting the century in a date format string (e.g., "09/09/55") passed to strtotime()
returns an error.
However, the link to the GNU Manual page pertaining to "calendar date item" states that
this format is acceptable. This is incorrect in rergards to strtotime().
It is obvious that a string such as "04/09/55" can be interpreted differently depending on
the locale; and, that this can be considered a valid error.
A simple note (or example) above, stating that this is the case with strtotime() -- that it needs
the century to work -- would have saved me some time.
