In the CLI version the output is still buffered if the php.ini says so!
This is an issue especially when you deal with STDIN and you keep waiting and waiting...
Took me hours to figure that out because it says here that in the CLI the output buffering is turned
off.
So, if you do not get your echo()'s or print()'s thrown at your screen immediately edit
the output_buffering directive to Off in your php.ini.
However, this might be bad if you have php runnning both as a server module and a CLI/CGI.
In this case better get your own php.ini for the CLI by compiling again with the
--with-config-file-path=/path/to/ini - directive.
