Trying to get php 4.3.3 to configure on a NetBSD 1.6.1 install with gd (php builtin) and png (libpng
1.2.5 from source) I found that I had to copy src/libpng-1.2.5/png.h to /usr/local/include/png.h
before configure would find png.h . No amount of CPPFLAGS=-I/path/here would make configure find
png.h . I'll be investigating this further and will note the issue to the libpng people if it
is really a problem with the makefile, though I have missed simple things before especially at 6am.
