After having major problems extracting the raw HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA after posting an XML document with
contentType text/xml I finally got it working.
In the Flash or similar use:
myXML = new XML();
// add stuff to myXML here
myXML.contentType = 'text/xml';
myXML.sendAndLoad(url, responseXML);
in the PHP script the contents will be in the $GLOBALS['HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA'] variable. It
should be noted that this was done without setting the always_populate_raw_post_data configuration
directive.
Test were done with PHP 4.1.2
