note 37366 deleted from function.getimagesize by didou

Note Submitter: cyril.bur at cyril-bur dot com ---- I would just like to say that i'm having a bugger of a time with images. I have tried EVERY say to get the size of an image but this function is the best so i'll post my problem here Problem ----------------------> I have a script where people enter a picture which is to be displayed but I don't want the picture to be huge so if its too big I just want to crop it without editing the image (putting the new sizes in the html code) and it all works fine assuming I use an image from MY server (where the script is executed) but if someone types a file which isn't on the server the next page says "The page cannot be displayed" and all that stuff even though the page worked 1 second ago. <------------------------------ Please help!
