In regards to LDAPS and Active Directory, is it possible to install a SSL certificate to an OU
within the directory; opposed to installing it on a domain controller. Reason I ask; I have a SSL
VPN appliance that can authenticate to LDAP with Active Directory as the Group Lookup Type. To
enable functions that will allow you to reset or change passwords, AD requires LDAPS. I can get
LDAPS to work on a domain controller with the SSL cert installed on that box, but to leverage an
exisiting AD, it would be nice to install a SSL cert to a specific OU and point the SSL VPN
appliance to that. Is this possible? Thanks!
