I had problems with ntext data types: only first 'n' characters were returned. I solved it
using a cast:
SELECT cast ( column_name as text ) as column_name ...
It looks like it returns text value as varchar type, so it truncates the result.
Other limitation is the next: TEXTSIZE variable sets the max length of column content that should
return
mssql_query ("set TEXTSIZE 100000;");
