note 37596 added to function.preg-replace

replacing patterns with \b might yield to different results depending on your script platform. ex: $new = preg_replace("\bÖsterreich\b/i","A","Germany Österreich France"); will replace on windows systems, but will not replace on linux etc., since 'Ö' will be interpreted as a '\b' itself. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.preg-replace.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+37596 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+37596&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+37596&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
