Hi,
if the Script below does not fully accomplish your task, try your luck by inserting the following
statement:
// issue SITE command...
ftp_site($connection, "CHMOD 777 $path/$newDir")
or die("FTP SITE CMD failed.");
after the ftp_mkdir-directive. This helped to finally make the directory writeable. what a hack ;-)
