I have a problem converting special characters.
I have a database containing Polish descriptions. When I export this to Excel, my file contains
ż (amp # 380 ;) instead of the special character "z" with a dot on top.
I have php prior to 4 (I think) so the normal decode function does not work. There fore I use the
above example unhtmlentities. This can replace (for example) a "amp nbsp ;", but my
"amp # 380 ;" still stays the same.
What am I doing wrong?
