Thank goodness I saw madmike's post! I already wasted 25 minutes from the obsolete
documentation!
For people who are upgrading PHP versions with Apache 2, I'll try to point out the fastest way
(module style):
Rename old PHP directory to PHP-old
Unzip entire PHP zip file to new PHP directory
HTTPD-conf file in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf (for me at least; look in
the dir where you installed apache 2):
Make sure PHP-loading line now says: LoadModule php5_module
"c:/apache/PHP5/sapi/php4apache2.dll"
(You might be able to skip the previous step if you're upgrading from PHP 5b1)
Copy/paste php4ts.dll to sapi folder from PHP's root folder
Copy/paste iconv.dll fto sapi folder rom dlls folder
Good to go!
