INSTALLING GD ON WINDOWS PHP FOR BEGINNERS ------------------------------------------------ (1) Download latest zip-php package from php.net/download (2) Find php_gd2.dll in zip's /extensions folder and copy it to your local php directory (eg. c:\php). (3) Open php.ini (found in c:\windows\) with notepad, search for ';extension:php_gd2.dll' and remove the leading semicolon (;). (4) Save it.
