For those who have the big problem with solaris and iPlanet/SunONE servers (after a few hours of
running the server you always get "Too many open files"/"Cannot open ... for
inclusion"), this helps:

This problem cannot be simply solved in PHP4, because there it is needed to open files with
fopen()/fdopen() but this fails due to a "bug" in solaris libc, which can only handle file
descriptors<256 in their FILE* structure :(
