NOTE: this is related to an earlier note, but contains a little more detail
Using IIS3/4/5?, using sessions? using automated logins?
Guess what? When running php as a CGI in IIS, IIS will
remove set-cookie headers if there is also a 302 status
(Location: redirect) header.
Why do you care?
Ever need to log in a user in the first page that a user sees
of your site? Well, you can't if you use IIS3/4/5 and any CGI
like Perl and PHP.
Here is the kb article:
http://support.microsoft.com:80/support
/kb/articles/q176/1/13.asp&NoWebContent=1
Guess what the workaround is:
rename 'php.exe' to 'nph-php.exe'
