I think it might be useful to note that it's a good to take advantage of this function if you
are using streams in scripts which also use set_time_limit() or ignore_user_abort(true).
A stream which doesn't timeout will keep running even if the limit set by set_time_limit() is
exceeded. And if you are using set_time_limit(0) and ignore_user_abort(true), there is a risk that
your script might hang in there "forever" if a stalled stream doesn't timeout
properly.
