note 38752 added to ref.mail

Hi @ll, i've got some problems with the mail()-function using attachments. When i recieve the mail, and i want to open the attachment (a *.zip file), i got a error message like "irregular file end". I also tested it with some of the examples above and some classes, i've found via google and sourceforge.com .... And with all of them, i always got the error message, while opening the attachment. Do i have to edit some settings in my Webserver or php.ini, to get the base64_encode()-function working???? Or what could be the reason????
