using apache and php on WINDOWS there is a peculiarity about using unlink.
unlink can only take relative paths on windows. using an absolute path will only result in a
"Permission denied" error. this means that
this will work.
unlink("/tempfile.txt");
while this will give a "permission denied" error.
unlink("c:\web_root\tempfile.txt");
well, hope it help someone, because i was very frustrated till i figured it out.
