Note that '==' seems to perform some evaluation of the arguments, see bug 23110 (http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=23110). In short: "1e1" == "10", but "1e1" !=== "10" Idem: "3.20" == "3.2", but "3.20" !== "3.2" This is the only case in which "===" will return a different result than "==" if the arguments have the same type (at least, the only case I know of). ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+38861 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+38861&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+38861&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
