It appears that when using crypt, it only cares about the first 8 characters of any password... Is
this correct? So when comparing passwords longer than 8 chars, you can enter just the first 8 chars,
and it will work. Is there any way around this so that it will be forced to compare the full
password text?
Thanks.
Wes
