This article at PHP Builder seems to say that ignore_user_abort takes a value, and if it evaluates
to true, it ignores the user clicking stop. If it's false, it doesn't ignore the user
clicking stop.
The article at PHP builder:
http://www.phpbuilder.com/tips/item.php?id=125
So you can activate it when you need it and deactivate it when you don't so to speak.
// ignore 'STOP' button
ignore_user_abort(true);
// stop execution of script on 'STOP'
ignore_user_abort(false);
