The PHP logo can be used to verify if a website is using PHP or not (even if they try to hide it).
For example, http://www.php.net/?=PHPE9568F34-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42
will display the PHP logo.
I think it's useless to try to hide that you're using PHP in your website, but if you
really want to, I'll give you a trick to manage to hide that.
We will use Apache's mod_rewrite . On my website (for example, but I'm not hiding php), I
pass the path as an argument to the PHP script (try /fr/portail/home.html and PHP will see
index.php?/fr/portail/home.html) with mod_rewrite's help. It causes PHP to do not see the
argument and your page will be displayed as usual.

: even the phpinfo()'s logo is broken but the PHP credits won't work too...
