a very simple way to:
1. export data form database.
2. add <br>.
3. add tabs.
$content=$sql_output["content"];
$content=htmlspecialchars($content, ENT_QUOTES);
$content=str_replace("\r\n", "<br>", $content);
$content=str_replace("\t", "<img src=img/space.gif width=30 height=1>",
$content);
space.gif is a blank, 1 width, 1 height block just to create space..
